Flex and Fluff : ACME Glassyard Studios

Lesley Bunch, Shadow Sculpture 38, oil on aluminium, 40cm x 40cm, 2025

Coming soon at ASC Glassyard Studios: Flex and Fluff, curated by Linda Khatri & Sam Haynes, and hosted by TwoPlusTwo.

Flex & Fluff explores the tension and harmony between strength and softness, structure and spontaneity. Through diverse media and playful contrasts, the exhibition invites viewers to navigate the space between firmness and fragility – where muscle meets whimsy, and form gives way to feeling.

Two Plus Two is an initiative set up by two Acme Glassyard studio holders: painter Lee Johnson and sculptor Poppy Whatmore. Two Plus Two is a program of shows, opening on the first Wednesday of each calendar month, in the Acme Glassyard Studios entrance foyer. The monthly capsule exhibition format is a powerful way for artists to bring attention to fellow artists in an inclusive yet experimental way – a testbed positioned half way between the studios and the gallery space. Two Plus Two sees each exhibition as a starting point, not an end-point: a place for interactivity, exchange & relationship building.
